  I love how two styles -- Old World Europe & Texas -- come together in this hotel creating an experience that's retro - yet, chic, modern, and simply elegant. From the moment I arrived until I left, I felt appreciated by a first-rate staff who made sure my stay at Hotel Alessandra was -- unforgettable. Thank you!

  Beautiful, immaculate and delicious. These are the words to describe the hotel, the staff and the food. High quality with great atmosphere and top tier service. An oasis of class, taste and elegance.

  Rooms are a perfect 5. They are well appointed, very spacious and exceptionally reasonably priced particularly for downtown. The roomservice prevented me from awarding 5 stars - it is billed as high end French, the price and offerings matched, but the execution did not. The service was fairly quick and accommodating but it just didn't make up for the limited offerings, price, and taste. Had the pork, salad, and Salmon Benedict. Would only recommend the salad. The service at the hotel bar was so poor that I eventually left without receiving the wine list I had been promised 10 minutes prior. Hotel also apparently does not believe in wines by the bottle which I consider an absolute necessity. However, if you are going just to stay and not to eat or drink I would highly recommend it.

  The Hotel Alessandra is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are lovely. I often travel with my group of boys to concerts in the area and they are in love, as well. The service is impeccable from the valet until check out. Last weekend, they drove the boys to their concert in the Maserati, which they LOVED. Nati provided excellent service and was fun to visit with. All that said, it would be a wonderful place for a romantic getaway or just to spend some time seeing what downtown Houston has to offer.
