This was my favorite bagle place in brooklyn, but they aren't the same as of about 3 months ago, more or less. Not sure if they changed owners or bakers. They used to be fatter, crispier, etc.

Bagel was amazing! But $2.50 for a Snapple, crazzzzy! Also, previous reader mentioned ROACHES :( didn’t read the reviews before I went. I will not be back!

I’ve gone into this place multiple times and have always had a problem. The staff has an ATTITUDE. They always get my order wrong, they barley speak English the last time u went there ten minutes ago I ordered a toasted garlic bagel with extra butter and jelly. As the girl was ringing me up the guy was buttering 2 bagels. She rang me for 2 I had to correct them, got an attitude the bagel wasn’t toasted I told her and she insisted it was, when I went to eat it it was an untoasted sesame bagel. I wasnt rude I merely mentioned to them it was not what I ordered and went back to finish it the guy came to my table insisted it was toasted (the butter wasn’t even melted) and started arguing with me. I left leaving the food. I am DONE with this place.

When I lived in Brooklyn, this was my most favorite place to shop for bagels and bialys. I loved it because they were always hot and fresh off the oven. Oh, how I miss this place! And the Spanish guys working there were always EXCELLENT - super nice and amazing. Then they moved to a new location, which was turned into a much nicer space, with seating and all. Loved everything about this place.

Came for a bagel this morning based on the reviews and the fact that they are open early. If my review was based on the bagel (they only had plain and sesame available at 6:30, so I had to get plain), they'd get 5 stars. However, despite the A rating, while we were waiting for our bagel to be prepared, the largest cockroach I've ever seen (and I'm from Florida) came out from under the counter right at me, and was crawling all over the floor and walls of the place the entire time I was waiting. It was hard to stay there and even harder to eat the bagel, but I'm a bagel addict so of course I ate it (and it was good). I'd love to come back here after they have some extermination work done.
