  This Westbury location of Home Goods has gone downhill to say the least. It is by far the worst Home Goods store in terms of management, customer service and product organization. The store seems to have gone through some employee turnover and the employees and manager (Winston) I encountered on a recent visit are the WORST. Winston the manager does not seem to have any grasp on how to properly manage the store, ensure cashiers are called up to open more registers before the check out line is 25 people long or properly supervise the employees. The latest round of employees are a bunch of young kids who all seem to hide and goof around in the back of the store. They are texting on their phone, exhibit very poor attitudes and act like they are doing you a huge favor by ringing you up or answering a question. The only exception is employee JoHann. She should be promoted to manager as she is courteous, works quickly and knowledgeable. Avoid this store until corporate makes some real changes to the staff at this store!

  To say I’m disappointed is an understandment. I am a past Homegoods employee and I went into the store tonight and it was a disaster. I understand completely how hectic the stores can get and how demanding the customers can be but this was absolutely outrageous. The manager was watching employees text on their cell phones and they were all huddled around the front cash register with no employees anywhere else. Absolutely nobody was cleaning up on the floor and I couldn’t even walk down certain Aisles because things were sprawled out everywhere. At my old store our managers were always on top of us making sure that we were always clean and presentable. It was just embarrassing being in the store and seeing how messy it was. I am an avid homegoods shopper and I love the store and I loved working there but they really need to step their game up.

  A Mess. Cant walk around without. Knocking into something. Dont use the bathroom ladies unless you want to get sick. This was when the store first opened in the morning can you imagine. Parking is none horrible as well. Disgrace eew

  UPDATE: The store is going a bit downhill. It's always a mess, the art section is impossible to look through - look at one art piece, all the others nearby fall. The MANAGERS are mean and nasty and have zero sense of customer loyalty or satisfaction. I shop there 2x a week and buy thousands of dollars worth of items, and yet the manager gave me a hard time about returning one $40 item! If I'm addicted to anything, it is this store. I recently purchased a home, and in my quest to grab a great steal, I am there every time my kids have activities nearby - which is 2x/week! My trip there is my mommy time - when I get to release my stress and ravish in beautiful pieces that I could decorate my home with. Some of the items I got there are typical household goods, but some were amazingly one of a kind awesome finds, such as a very high end luxury piece at 1/3 of a price, or a gorgeous rug at a fraction of retail price. I hope this store never shuts down, because if it does, I dunno where else I'll get my retail therapy. Taking away 1 star because oftentimes, the store is disorganized, art pieces fall on you and hurt your foot as they are not laid out properly, aisles are narrow and tight and the lines are WAY too long.
