  Called on Wednesday to make a reservation for Saturday, to see the performance. A man on the phone told me they are very busy around 11, but if I wait for 20 minutes "half of the people" will leave and I'll get to eat. I specifically asked if I would be able to see the performance and he said yes. I drove all the way up from Alexandria. Got there at 10:40 and of course they were busy. I asked the guy for a table and he told me nothing until noon. I asked if I could watch the performance and he said I won't be able to see it, unless I was sitting at the table in the dining room. I turned around and left. I should've called them again before coming. Don't understand why the man on the phone didn't tell me not to come.

  I went to the hospital becuase of these people. I went for the Year of the Dog. They served the Firework Fish Filllet instead of the orange chicken (it looks exactly the same) the guy yelled, “ORANGE CHICKEN!” To announce the food’s precense but unfortunatey, I ate 2 pieces of the fish and was serviced to the hospital. I had missed the dragons, I wanted to put money in its mouth but I couldnt. I also missed 2 proposals.

  I was a regular customer until the owner older gentleman threw my debit card at me after I handed it to him. After he threw it to me, I was going to let it go, thinking he did it by mistake. But no, I asked him and he preceded to wave his hand, making hand gestures to leave his restaurant. His son walked up to me apologizing saying he's old and that's just him. I told him that's no excuse to treat a regular paying customer. I will no longer support them. Clearly racists old man ways.

  Close to home, quick and easy. Hollywood East offers dim sum served on rolling carts. The food was decent but not as varied as other places offering similar fare. Don't let that keep you from trying this restaurant. Because of its proximity to home, Hollywood East saves me the trouble of driving to Rockville or Hanover for dim sum. I'm looking forward to eating here again.

  I am crazy about their dim sum. Really love the sticky rice, dumplings, eggplant, and really everything we've tried. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
