  It's a little hard to get to until you learn about the parking garage in back which almost always has spaces available. Staff is friendly and you're never rushed into decisions. Selection is huge, too. We have a liquor store within walking distance of our house but we drive to HB anyway because it's so much better (okay, we don't make special trips but we do hold off on buying drinkables until we're already out and about on other errands).

  Best selection in town. If there's a rare item I'm looking for, I drive across town to come here first. Helpful staff, too!

  We were passing this store and they were great! We called ahead and they had the exact liquor we were looking for. They also had a wide selection of beer and all the extras and mixers. Nice people. Highly recommend.

  Nice selection of liquor. My only problem is finding help when I need it. I would appreciate it if the sales clerks were more available to answer questions (although I have had some decent advice in the past, thus the 4 star rating). Good location. Either way, this is one of the only liquor stores I will go to in Portland. The space is clean and well organized as well.
