Typical holiday inn, except the TV size is 32". Pretty laughable size. you'd have a bigger screen holding your phone 2 feet away from your face.

Drove here for work purposes due to weather, I live in Tipton but work in Carmel. The people at Holiday Inn were so welcoming to me. The room I stayed in was decent and clean. Breakfast was top notch. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need a place to stay.

Thankful it was just a one night stay and it felt we were in a wet sock. Front staff was professional but certainly not outgoing. First entering and the entire time room had a musty smell, the room felt damp. Probably not helping the situation the bathroom exhaust fan does not appear to work at all and the moisture buildup has the wallpaper coming off the walls. Can definitely tell this has had furniture, flooring and tile upgrades but it’s all lipstick covering up some serious maintenance issues. A 32” TV in a suite is kind of small, no USB plugs unlike 99% of IHG hotels It’s convenient to the fields but drive a few more minutes and stay somewhere that actually addresses issues at their facility rather than the hundreds of canned replies they have posted to negative reviews.

We got here around 3:15 pm on 5/18/22 for a 3 day stay. I have very bad arthritis throughout my whole body. So can not do stairs at all. My wife and 10 year old daughter went up stairs to the 3rd floor (308) . I had to talk to them by phone . Till they finally came down the stairs. I waited in front of the elevator for 30 min. The elevator stopped working. I was told that I had to use the stairs. Oh , he'll no. We had a suite room with a king bed and a couch bed for our daughter. They gave us a lesser room on the 1st floor. 2 queen beds and no couch bed. I asked for a discount because of the inconvenience and the smaller room. I did not get anything for our inconvenience. The room smells musty and wasn't that clean. The TV went half dark. So we could hardly see what we were watching. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

This hotel was above and beyond great, and that's saying a lot considering most hotels in my experience are pretty average and unmemorable. The Hilton Inn Express Carmel however was homey and the staff were absolutely pleasant. It's a quick half hour drive to downtown Indianapolis with plenty of shops nearby to get what you need. My partner and I arrived extremely late traveling from Kansas City so we ended up checking in after 5am so we were not charged for our initial night. I greatly appreciate that! Since we checked in so late we ended up being awake for breakfast later that morning and the attendant working in the breakfast area was awesome. She refilled the eggs upon request and they were hot and fresh. The food was restocked frequently and I quite enjoyed the coffee! I ended up using the gym on our second morning and got a nice quick work out in. There's enough equipment to make use of your time. The pool is temporarily closed which is expected but all other facilities were open. The manager working the weekend we stayed along with other staff I interacted with were all friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and found everything I needed with no problems. Our room was tidy and well stocked with extra towels and pillows as requested. I actually really liked the shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the bathroom too! The only thing I did not enjoy was the slow elevators. There's only one so it could be quite slow waiting to get from floor to floor. Overall we had a pleasant stay and I would certainly recommend it to others staying near Indianapolis!
