  Our room was a little outdated but they were updating the rooms during our stay. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast.

  Room was big and clean. Breakfast spread was good. Short drive to downtown San diego. Will definitely come back here to stay if I ever come back.

  Staff: 4/5 Breakfast food: 1/5 Room: 2/5. lost power on TV, Microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Didn't turn on up to check out. They clean room every 3 days. Changing towels and remove trash took the whole day. Limited parking, small spaces.

  This hotel is perfectly fine, clean room, great free breakfast with biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon, sweet rolls, etc., very friendly staff. The shower spray was rather weak, but that is to be expected nowadays, I suppose. Handy location right off the 805.

  Rats inside the hotel. Floors were stained and dirty. Mold was pervasive and the floors feel rotted below the carpets. The dirt and grime from the air conditioning units can be seen even on the outside of the hotel--if you have any sensitivity, you will have trouble breathing. Only one elevator was working and sometimes none were working. Parking is extremely difficult, even in a compact car. The pool is smaller than the room and only a few guests can use it at one time. The breakfast was extremely underwhelming. The hotel charged my card 4 times for the room, and the charges are still pending.
