Family of 3 stayed in a 2 dbl bed room on the 6th floor. The sink is separated from the shower / toilet. Definitely an attempt to "upscale" the look of the room, the bowl-top sink is WAY too tall for regular sized humans to use comfortably. The a/c was ice cold, the beds were comfy but just too small - not meant for 2 adults. The bathroom was small, no exhaust fan so it steamed up quickly. Would not stay there again.

Location is great but that’s about it unfortunately. Didn’t stop us from having a wonderful weekend trip but I would definitely never return to this hotel and I cannot recommend it to anyone who cares about getting any sleep at all. The room was fine enough, pretty standard except for a toilet that was weirdly small and a sink that didn’t drain properly, so every time you washed your face or brushed teeth, water filled up and pooled, slowly draining after a while. I would’ve complained but we were booked for only one night so I figured I’d let it go. But then… the noise. Jeez, it was ridiculous. It sounded like the windows were open all night. Every loud revving engine and loud music was like it was right next to us in bed. The noise inside was just as awful - the walls are paper thin here and everything is audible. Drunk folks were yelling until 3am in the halls and there was loud clubbing music somehow permeating into the room even though we were 10 floors up. We didn’t get a wink of sleep. The next morning we realized the breakfast was not complementary as it’s been in literally ever single other HIE I have stayed in. This was overpriced, not good, even bad coffee and cold toast. Parking was $22 which I anticipated and was fine with but did not expect the crazily poor designed parking lot to hotel entrance system. Be prepared to walk a good ways out of the parking garage. It was fine for us but I’d hate to have my young nieces or elderly family with me doing that without a warning. Overall, pretty crummy service and price point for the low quality you get and zero noise control.

The building itself is historical. This used to be an old stock trading center. The owner and the management were very thoughtful to turn this building into a hotel in the best way possible. Yes, the rooms have some outdated items like the microwave, refrigerator, A/C, bath tub, but everything was clean and in working condition. The carpet and paint was newer. The building is made from brick, which provided extra noise isolation and warmth in the winter time. Good quality windows, blocked noise from the outside. The walls are thicker than in modern hotels. There are 3 types of curtains in the window, with one being a blackout curtain. We had 2 queen size beds in our room. They were extremely comfortable. Every bed had 4 pillows, with 2 pillows being feathered down and soft and 2 other firm polyester pillows. Pillow cases had those indications. The blankets, bedding and towels are very clean and smelled fresh. The Dove brand lotions, shampoos and conditioners (30ml or 1.01 fl oz each) had a very pleasant, soft aroma and nice design, which is unusual for hotels to have. The sink was in the hallway which was very comfortable, because if one guest is in the bathroom, the other guest doesn't need to wait for the bathroom to free up. We liked that the water was hot right away with excellent pressure, day and night. We were in other hotels where water was almost cold at night. The bathtub was of large size and the curtain in the bathroom was double and set up to be easily replaced for the next guest. The dark brown, good quality furniture with executive size table and a study, comfortable chair gave ability to work at the computer for long hours. The room had plenty of shelves, drawers, dresser, closet in the hallway with a security safe which was easily operated. There were 3 mirrors in the room with golden-silver frames, including a full size mirror where you could see yourself completely. In the room, there were 5 light fixtures with 10 lights! 3 light fixtures above the sink where you can see yourself perfectly well when shaving or applying makeup. This hotel will promise hospitality and we had an actual experience with it. To all of our questions, requests and wishes, the hotel staff went above and beyond. The staff were attentive, friendly and thoughtful. I've stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time already and I always wish to come back to this hotel because of their genuine hospitality. Another extra bonus is that the hotel is the perfect location, all restaurants withing 3-10 minutes of walk and Whole Foods grocery store within 11 minutes of walk. We found this room very comfortable, relaxing after a long day, quite and the hotel to be welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend.

We got a voucher for a room here for an overnight layover. I was without my mobility aids because I had to check them in, but I'm ambulatory, and the staff was wonderful about helping us get a room that was a kind of short walking distance. We didn't stay in one of the accessible rooms because we did not plan on showering here or staying longer than to just sleep, so I cannot comment on those rooms, but our shower still had bars and using the bathroom was easy enough. The beds were a little tall, but that was expected. Overall though, it's easy enough to get around in the hotel, just a little harder because I didn't have my aids, and the staff is great about accommodating people.

Bed was super comfortable. This is a great spot for a hotel. I love downtown areas. The hotel staff was awesome. Especially at midnight when you are hungry. They will make sure you eat! We had a nice room with a view of the city. Again the bed, was comfy with extra pillows for me!
