  My Mom lived there for 2 years before she passed in January. She was at home there and had many friends. My mom was a bit mischievous, and the staff did whatever environmental control they could for her safety. I am forever grateful her last years were at Highland Park, before she did finally go home to heaven. The staff work hard there (housekeeping, nurses, shower aides, nurses aids, dietary, the activities director , social worker, and the administration, maintenance, laundry, etc.) and i always pray for their personal good health and happiness!

  My mom stay here, she have had almost everything taken from her, they have hardly any activities for them through out the day. The workers are direspectful to the residents being the place the residents stay in...the workers are in the halls talking loud ablout everything. They don't have a uniform and anybody from off the street can come in and start taking care of your love one. The smell in this place is 24/7 and it's never a freshness in the building. They still her clothes and let other people in the facility wear them. They ramble through her stuff when she's away. And I went there this morning after 12:00 noon and her breakfast tray was still sitting in front of her....she still have on her night close. I could go on and on but me just talking will not help. Act has to take place...N. O. W....!!!
