  PROFESSIONAL COURTEOUS REASONABLE Last night at 7pm I realized my refrigerator had turned itself off. In a panic I called High Tech Appliance, expecting to be overcharged and underserved. To my delight, they were responsive, cheerful, and sent one of their extremely capable technicians, Armando, to my Manhattan apt. Within 30 minutes the breakdown had been repaired, and we'd had such a good time I gave him some extra Halloween candy. All Treats, no Tricks with High-Tech Appliance ;-)

  Armando was terrific. Would use again in a heartbeat. Was able to quickly access the problem. He knows the sub zero well. The company brings most of the spare parts with them in their truck so that it did not require another visit. Julian his assistant worked side by side. Excellent workmanship.!!!

  Am usually too busy to take the time to do so - but for these folks I specifically made time. I called them to repair my Sub-Zero fridge, and there was no issue with the actual repair. They came, saw the issue, diagnosed it within a minute and told me I had to replace the water valve. The reason for the 1 star review is that they charged me $402 for it, when a water relay valve costs ~$25. I recognize there is also the service cost but that was supposed to be $90 - actually $65, since I also had a $25 coupon. But the technician made it sound like that's the cost of a new water valve. The process took about 5 mins for him to install and then he was off. It's partly my fault for being scammed - I should have checked the cost online, but I wanted to warn others about it - so they don't get scammed too.

  We called for service on our Subzero and had Service the same day. Brian diagnosed the problem went over everything with us and Fixed it in the same visit. Excellent and fast service and great price for the repair. We highly recommend high tech and will use them again!

  Excellent service. it is my 2nd time using them. this time i didn't bother price shopping or calling anyone else. they were great. professional. showed up on time, and most importantly they diagnosed and repaired my refrigerator on the first visit. I highly recommend them. The serviceman i had was Armando, and he was just great.
