  I travel a lot & have tasted some of the best wines in the world. The owner Red sells hands down the best imported wine & cider in the sunset park neighborhood ! Very good quality balanced at decent price points. He specializes with wines direct from Spain, France, Portugal, & different parts of South America, etc. He even has hand select quality local US wine & ciders. If you live far away, definitly worth the trek here if you drive or train, just give a call beforehand to see if he is working that shift. simple. :-) If you subscribe to his email you'll get notifications on when he has occasional events offering a variety of samples highlighted for the week. Sometimes during holidays he has snacks, music the whole getup.

  Very family friendly. The owners are artistic and know a lot about what they are selling.😰🐘🍷

  Why is this a wine store. Poor selection. Shelves are only stocked with 2 bottles at most. The staff no where to be found. I believe the store wrote there own reviews.

  It was very surprising, i even missed it , backing up down the street. Prices are very affordable, but i would pay extra to buy wine from this- different from other local stores- shop , that has personal touch- even on price labels, 👍

  I have a friend who is a wine importer. I was having a conversation with him last week and he was telling me that there is more than 100 chemicals can legally be added to wine. He advised I should only buy wine that comes from small operations and independent vineyards. He said avoid the cooperate wine companies and mass producers as they are most likely to add these chemicals to their wine. The reason I love High Point Wines and Spirits that they only work directly with the vineyard owners in small wineries. Everything I have gotten so far is been grand and I'm very happy to have them across the street.
