  Lovely hotel. Local staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Location was in a very nice and cute neighborhood. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, nice free light breakfast included. Location is conveniently located in downtown, easy access to bus and train nearby. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

  9년만에 재방문했는데, 새로지은 건물이 있어서 흐뭇했습니다. 구건물에는 엘레베이터가 없었는데, 신건물에는 엘레베이터도 있고 카페 등 편의시설도 잘되어 있어요. 무엇보다도 방이랑 공용욕실에 뭐 하나 빠지는 것 없이 잘 되어 있어 대만족입니다. 와이파이도 빠르고, 조식은 베이글 하나에 커피/주스/티지만 추가금액내고 다른 음시 먹을 수 있어서 좋아요! 다만 단점이라면 지상철 역에서 10-15분 가량 걸어야 한다는 점입니다. 그래도 이정도면 추천할만합니다. 참 직원들도 너무 친절해요!!

  I've been in Hostels all over Europe and Asia and this one is one of the best ones I've ever stayed at. Rooms and bathrooms are super clean. The staff are all nice and helpful. It is a small walk to get anywhere but that is probably a non-issue for any backpacker. There is a Cafe in the lobby that serves decent food as well!

  This was my first hostel experience, and booking here made for a pleasant stay! Staff are very friendly, helpful and personable, including those who work in the connected cafe. Rooms were spacious and clean, and so were the bathrooms. They are shared, but it seems that private rooms (we had a private double bedroom) all share individual bathrooms, so they're not locker room types if that is a concern. Our house had huge windows that let in a lot of natural light, and since they ask for quiet time after 10pm, we slept peacefully all the nights we stayed. Location is great - it's close to bus/light rail lines and you can purchase 1-day transit passes at the check-in desk. A free bagel and a beverage every morning come with the deal, or use the voucher for a discount on any other items if bagels aren't your thing. We will stay here the next time we're in Portland. Highly recommended!

  Great friendly hostel very well situated in Portland. Staff was always smiling. The way the hostel is divided within guesthouses with common rooms and a kitchen and the main building with the Hostel Café, it gives the friendly vibe of a small community and makes you want to reach out and speak with other guests. The free morning bagel and coffee was good, however, just a side note, it would be nice to have some fruits along with the morning breakfast. Nevertheless, the proximity of a few great grocery stores (Joe's Market, Whole Foods) within a few blocks walking distance will help you get your daily portions of fresh fruits and vegetables. ;)
