  When you get there, you are very likely to be told that they don't have the car model you have asked right now and only expensive SUV is available. (We saw small car models similar to ours in the Hertz's parking lot but the customer service said the cars were not their companies) We paid the original rental fees but the insurance for SUV is extremely high. We ended up paid triple of our original budget.

  If I could give them a 1 Star I would, I had a terrible experience. Arrived at 6:02pm and no one would let me in staying it closed at 6:00pm. I calmly asked in good customer faith if they could allow me to keep my reservation and they said no cars available. What an absolutely horrible experience, I have never been treated treated this negatively by a car service. My recommendation is don’t go here if you value 5 Star, best in class customer experience bc they are not in the business of taking care of guests.

  Had a car reserved for weeks. Arrived at my specified pick up time and was told they had no cars left to rent. They were unwilling to call another location to secure a car at the reserved price and they were unwilling to offer any consolation or compensation to make it right. At the very least, a phone call would have been appropriate, as I had to waste $20+ on 2 Uber trips to get there. Thoroughly disappointed and discouraged, as my weekend plans were dependent upon having a car.

  Do not rent a car from here under any circumstances. I paid for a reservation on 01/11/18 and was not contacted until a week later that the vehicle I had selected (Nissan NV-2500) was unavailable at this location due to ceiling height in the garage. The website has no way of restricting vehicle class availability based on these simple factors. My reservation was for 01/21/18 and this left very little time to find a compromise. I was offered a substitute vehicle (Grand Caravan GT) for nearly triple the cost (over $300) and got strong armed into insurance I had opted out of on the site and didn't need. Forget no means no, they'll decide for you. I waited 20 minutes just to be helped by staff and the kiosk used to provide signature was essentially unusable, meaning anyone could use your card and scribble anything and they'll accept it. On top of all this, they kept my money for the vehicle they couldn't give me (over $131, which I will be pursuing refund for) and charged me $35 just to leave the parking garage. Thirty five bucks to lift a gate. My rental was supposed to be just under $340 with a $200 deposit (under $150 once deposit returned). It turned into a nightmare costing me well over $700 including the deposit and garage fee. This was my first rental from Hertz and it has been the single worst retail experience I have ever had. This rental will be my last. I will never use Hertz again. TL;DR: your rental cost will be everything you've got, or else. Use U-Haul.

  Lou saves the day. I booked through a third-party site and through no fault of Hertz, the return location was incorrect and changing it would increase the cost substantially. I was going to seek out another agency but by using my AAA account and some customer service magic, Lou found me a car at a competitive price and made my trip a whole lot easier. Thanks, Lou.
