  They got one star because the guy there was nice. However, Hertz falsely took $780 out of out bank account (using our debit card). When we investigated, they told us it was for tolls (not ours)! They admitted their error but then said it would take two weeks to have the money returned!!! After over a dozen phone calls, we finally got our account refunded in about a week. What a nightmare! Take our advise: NEVER use your debit card at Hertz!

  The Hertz on route 17 is where I rented a insurance replacement. The process was easy and the car was good. A new 300S Sport. The attendant was knowledgeable and friendly. Will rent from them again.

  We recently rented a car from this location as part of an insurance claim. We declined the insurance and the prepay option for fuel but were later on charged for both. Our credit card was also charged well over 200 dollars in fraudulent toll fees for tolls in and around NYC in the span of 4 days. None of the tolls were ours, we hardly used the car. This location is absolutely not to be trusted with credit card information.
