  Since moving to Port Washington (PW). I have invariably rented from the PW Hertz outlet at 122 Main Street. The PW site (a Meineke shop) is a satellite of the Hertz office in Great Neck, NY. Neither the PW outlet nor the Great Neck agency have ever disappointed. If a car isn't available at Port Washington, the Great Neck office has invariably (and swiftly) corrected the issue. I want to especially commend Ali, the man that runs the Port Washington desk at Meineke. He has always been efficient, courteous and knowledgeable.

  Very bad experience with this car rental agent! When I took the car it was only half tank left. I took several pictures around the car and also took a picture of the mileage meter(14310) with the tank indicator. When I returned the car I was been told the car was full tank with mileage of 14214 when I rent it. Then I showed him the picture. He said he couldn't make these 2 numbers wrong. I showed him the other pictures taken in front of his rental store, tried to make him believe I didn't lie but he still denied it with a smile!!!!!! He made me looked like an idiot!!!! Finally he made a phone call to Hertz proved my theory. What else can i say..... I'll never ever rent cars from this agent again!!!!!
