  Is a mystery to me how this place has good reviews. First, reservations are a joke, even when we had one, we still waited 40 minutes for our table. Second, the food was cold, the flavor was not authentic and way too salty( the only good thing was the fried duck), lastly, the waiter was the worst. He could smile at you, but he kept forgetting our table, kept apologizing and for the worst, worst part, for dessert, I wanted a piece of the Christmas strudel, he kept saying that I should buy the whole thing, I kept saying no. At the end he brought the whole thing and with a smile said, don't worry is cheap, just $24. I was ready to burst, but my husband convinced me to let it go. So, there is no way, I would recommend this place. Maybe they are nice to locals or something. Not us. Oh, the only good thing about this place is the man playing live music.

  Such a Magical Authentic German Experience; A taste of home away from home. From the Beer to the schnitzel this eatery does not disappoint. Took both my parents here for a taste of the old country, will again. The Deli & shoppe is delightful for takehomes, great for kids & adults...

  What a fantastic German food experience. We both got pork schnitzel with different sauces: mushroom cream on one, wine on the other. Everything was fresh, tasty, and portioned to make sure you will not walk out of there hungry. The soft pretzel was delicious as well, and came with an amazing mustard... We bought a bottle of it to take home. Excellent service on top of all that. Cheerful, relaxed, and knew the menu inside out. The restaurant decor was also charming and cozy, with the owner's fishing memorabilia and some cool cuckoo clocks. Wholeheartedly recommend this place!

  I enjoy German food, but it has to be authentic. And this place is! The last Friday/Saturday night they have live music and dancing. The original cocktail I tried has their signature apfelkorn (apple liquor). Seriously?! It tasted like cinnamon apple cider. It was so delicious, but dangerous because it could easily drop you to the floor. The menu is their own recipes brought from Germany. Steins are for sale as well. Great selection of German beers (bier). If you like beer and don't want a hangover, German beer is the way to go. The food is amazing! If I didn't live so far, I would be here more often. Check it out! You will not be disappointed.

  Lunch take-out, first visit. Ordered: Bratwurst Sampler Jaeger Schnitzel Bread Schnitzel a slice of German Choc cake Apple Strudel Schnitzels were delicious and each order comes with 2 sides. Our 4 sides were the Squash, Rice & 2 of the Kroketten. Loved the squash! The Brat sampler is also a winner. Am thinking of this being great with beer for dine in next time. The cake and Strudel was good, not great. Coffee, okay, could have been stronger! Thus, the 4-⭐ rating. Parking won't be a problem. Ambiance/decor is TRULY rustic. They also have an area for various German items, both edibles and non-edibles. Service is great, very welcoming, polite & friendly. This is a 1st try but definitely won't be the last.
