  Went here looking for cross stitching items. Found what i wanted and much more. The lady helping me was very nice and helpful. Other places that sell cross stitch material only have kits. Hearts Desire had fabrics, thread/floss, paterns, and books/magazines with patterns of all kinds. I picked up a couple pattern magazines and will most certainly return to buy what i need to complete the next project i undertake.

  Heart's Desire is the best cross stitch in Wichita. It is a must see for everyone addicted to this hoppy. It is better than the ones in OK. If you don't see what you want, they can order it for you. There are lots of model to look at so you can actually see work by local customers. Their framing is done in the shop and they do a nice job. Not only is this store amazing the staff is fantastic and always willing to help. I see where someone posted they had a bad experience. all I can say to you is you must have been rude to them. I have gone to this store from the beginning on east Central, over 25 years and they are always friendly!

  I am a long time, very loyal, customer of this shop and was the customer in line behind "R" who was upset about her transaction. I can tell you that there is definitely another side to her story, and that there's just no pleasing some people. I've always had excellent and very friendly service at this store. They go out of their way to help their customers and assist you in getting what you need. Anyone looking for quality cross stitch products and friendly service should shop this store.

  Went in to Hearts Desire today since we were in town for the weekend. I can tell you I had the worst experience from the gal working there. Mind you the stuff that we got wasnt I had to have stuff. She went to run the other halfs card and due to it has a chip she claimed she couldnt swipe it. When I tried to explain that other places that dont have a chip reader swipes it just fine. She snapped and claimed she knew what she was doing. I walked out of the store and waited for my other half. I guess the whole time she kept running her mouth about it. Not to mention she tried to deny the use of the card claiming she couldn't read it. The numbers werent perfect like a brand new card but you can still read them. They lost a customer I can guarantee you I won't be back. I don't need to give you my business that bad! Especially with 3 cross stitch shops within 3 hrs from my home.

  I have been going to Hearts Desire for years now and every time I go in I receive excellent service whether I need help finding a pattern or framing a cross stitch. All of the workers are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love their job. Plus they have the best selection of everything cross stitch related and if they don't have a pattern they can order it in for you easily.
