  Helped me with a dental emergency on a holiday weekend, highly recommend. I woke up with a very painful tooth on the Saturday before Easter, found Dr Frederick on Google, called and got an appointment that very day. He examined me and x-rayed the tooth, and it was clear he would have preferred to save it (an upper molar), but it could not be saved, due to a combination of a bad cavity and being too ground-down due to years of bruxxing (tooth grinding while sleeping). The extraction was virtually painless, and I believe his experience and skill played a big part in that, and in the relatively quick recovery. I have no dental insurance and paid out of pocket, and while it wasn't exactly cheap, it wasn't insanely expensive either (then again, I haven't been to the dentist in a number of years; No need to, no problems). From the first time I called him, and throughout my appointment, it was obvious that Dr Frederick is an experienced professional who genuinely enjoys helping people, and I appreciate him helping me in my time of need.

  Chipped a tooth at work on a Sunday morning, made a call to Dr. Frederick's office and was seen the same day after I finished my shift. Very impressed with his schedule and willingness to see patients. He was very kind and professional, explained everything he needed to do and made sure that I was involved in my treatment options. Excellent patient care experience and service. I did have to wait in his office for about half an hour past my appointment time, but that is a small complaint to have for a dentist willing to see me on a Sunday evening. I would recommend Dr. Frederick to anyone looking for dental work, and will definitely be visiting him again the next time I need to see a dentist.

  Same day service! What a friendly atmosphere! Extremely satisfied. (Same day visits pay up front) I got 1 tooth extracted and was very pleased. He was extremely understanding and friendly. He is a private dentist so things are more relaxed and comfortable. The office is smaller then most but I like that. I walked in to jazz music, and a very welcoming atmosphere. He decorates with sentimental items I enjoyed seeing his awards and pictures! This made me feel instantly at ease. He sat me down and asked me the normal questions. The Operation went super fast only like 5 minutes. He explained the steps so I was very comfortable and informed. He uses professional expertice and sterilized equipment. He numbed me great. There was no pain whatsoever. Easy and simple. This is such a great solution if your in a bind, no insurance, and need same day treatment! If it happens again I will most definitely return. Confident attitude got me at the door I knew he was the guy for the job. Thank you doctor Frederick I am very greatful!

  My experience with Dr. Sams has been an absolute nightmare. The damage he caused to my mouth required me two additional trips to a different dentist to stop the pain he caused and permanent disfigurement to my front tooth because he ground away a healthy tooth for no reason. He took in two patients at the same time, didn't wash his hands between working on one another. He asked for my credit card while i was sitting in the dental room and was already numbed. All of his equipment was dirty. But his terrible dentistry was not the end of it. He ignored phone calls and emails asking him to fill a form required for me to put in a claim to my insurance (he told me he was out of network). I had to show up at his door where i demanded he fill the form before i leave (he put up a fight). Weeks later I come to find he lied and that he was in network well after i had paid him and he refused to honor the fee reduction. This is illegal. I will be reporting him to the proper authorities. This man is a fraud. He should not be a licensed dentist. Please learn from my mistakes and go elsewhere.

  I was traveling to Pittsburgh and broke a tooth. Dr. Sams worked me in on Saturday late afternoon. He reassured me that the tooth was stable, and that it would be fine for my weekend trip for the Steelers game. No charge. Nice guy, great service. What a gem!
