The lack of empathy and care is readily visible at Brandon Hospital’s ER from the beginning. The valet driver was watching a video on his phone, laughing. He couldn’t be bothered to approach our car. After getting my mother into the waiting room, we saw litter - dirty Kleenex, empty face mask boxes, a large beverage jug in front of the welcome stand. There was a group of 6 staff at the intake station, chatting and laughing. They casually asked if we needed assistance. I didn’t want people screaming and running, but there was a lack of empathy involved. Doctors and hospitals, in general, have been overwhelmed, overworked, and under appreciated since the pandemic. Brandon Hospital isn’t doing much to garner the empathy and appreciation it could probably deserve. DO NOT VISIT IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS.

I've had 3 births here and have absolutely no complaints for any of them. In fact, I believe my experiences were better each time. I just delivered on 9/19 and from the minute I walked in to the minute I left was absolutely amazing. Every single nurse and doctor that came to my rooms were all so great and went above and beyond. I felt like I was the only patient in the hospital which is a great feeling and so very rare. I will definitely continue to have my children delivered here. 100% recommend the Brandon Hospital Womens Center!

Been waiting for over 4 and 1/2 hours just to get my neck shoulder and chest pain look at the doctor initially saw me stated she would give me some medicine and order an EKG and some lab work.. so I went back into the waiting area after 45 minutes of waiting I asked what's the status and she's like oh we waiting on your lab work and I was like I never took it so the nurse took me back he had issues doing the needle because of defective equipment and I had to wait to get some medicine which they could have gave me earlier so it would have been in effect my recommendations for this hospital is whe you nitially see a patient if medicine is needed go ahead and issue then send back in the lobby and better communicate with all employees to make sure things are done properly and in a better efficient way

We came to The hospital my husband was presenting heart attack symptoms they took him in the triage nurses and Doctor was good they said they will be running some test and that he will definitely be admitted this began at 8:00 pm hours when by I kept asking when the room will be available they kept saying anywhere from now to a few hours . At 5:30Am I ask the front desk when will they take my husband they had no idea . I ask then is this how they treat an 68 yrs old man presenting Heart attack symptoms they had pretty much no answer j ask if they can put him in a room with a recliner , what the nice young girl did in the registration was get him a recliner and bring out to the waiting area we had to be near the COVID section . I went back around 6:45 to inform I need to see a Doctor is going on one hour I haven’t seen one Doctor yet my husband takes Brilinta and aspirin one in the am and one at pm he missed the night one and it’s seems he gonna miss the morning one. I know they are in change is shift I get it. But this is not how you treat and elderly person who is presenting heart attack symptoms. Not sure who drop the ball here but I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone’s one.

I have never been here before , but my brother was sent here from his job. My first reaction was to get him transferred to another hospital why? This place is by far the most disgusting hospital ever . Floors are dirty , gum stuck to the hand sanitizer wipes box, the doctors and nurses are so rude . I asked them for help because my brother needed to use the restroom . No one came and he ended up peeing on himself . Then when I needed to use the restroom the below picture is what I saw when I walked in. Immediately I told the nurse and all they said was ok, then said in Spanish all these people do is complain they thought we didn’t speak Spanish but clearly we do. I came back hrs later and STILL it looked like the image below . This place is so trashy , I will never allow anyone in our family to come here . It wasn’t our choice after we told the ambulance to go to a different hospital and they instead took him here . This place needs to be bought out by advent or just get shut down . It’s disgusting. I wouldn’t even send my worse enemy here . Think twice before going here
