  Best spot for breakfast and coffee in downtown Cincinnati. And they might have the best coffee in the tri-state area. The goetta is great, the eggs are made exactly how you ordered them. And the service is friendly and fast. Plus it's inside the gorgeous Carew Tower.

  This nostalgic 50's style diner is one of Cincinnati's great gems. Being located in Carew Tower, this diner has the historic feel that Cincinnati is known for. Going to Hathaway's Diner Is not only about the food, but the experience of venturing downtown and exploring the city. However, the quality of the food is not disguised by the atmosphere. The breakfast is a good size and very filling, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The service is a bit slow, but the slow service gives more time to relax to the 50's music and enjoy yourself. I recommend touring Carew Tower and its observation deck for a full experience. This is a MUST VISIT in Historic Cincinnati.

  Our hotel only offered a brunch, so I asked the valet for a breakfast place. Hathaway’s Diner is a great find. Throwback and casual, good breakfast and coffee, noisy diner experience. Just what I like! Good spot!

  The breakfast place is a throwback to yesterday with it's decor, kind of a 50's vibe. Food of eggs, bacon, toast, etc was okay or average. Was hoping for better or at least as compared to Waffle House. Service is friendly. Costs is cheap for downtown locale.
