  I usually always win at Harrah's and have a great time even if I don't. It's fun to meet new people and get caught up in such a fun atmosphere. I had a room on comps built up and I'm single so I couldn't believe the room when I got up there. It was huge with dining place, kitchen, large family-room TV area, and a nice bedroom with the TV and king-size bed all private. Bathroom was the biggest bathroom I've ever seen for Hotel. Look at pics. Plan to go back many times in the future cuz the employees are friendly, professional, honest, and are always looking out that take care of you. So go gamble buildup Total Rewards comps and you'll get rewarded!

  Hubby took me on a weekend getaway. The room was clean and cozy. Unfortunately, the buffet is very high priced. Cost 60.00 for the two of us. It probably would been worth it if I could eat the seafood (allergic). Staff was very nice bed was comfortable.

  My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding night here yesterday on April 3rd, 2018. We didn't have a reservation because it's normally not busy on Tuesdays. The person that checked us in was Sabin Bosnia; he was snooty and a little rude with us about not having a reservation. The room was about 145 and some change with a security deposit included. The room had a nice view of Kc but for the price the tv had barely any channels it cost $20 to rent one movie and the door had quite a gap at the bottom. The tub was amazing! The bed was comfy but the comforter was thin and small for a king size. There also was only 4 pillows instead of 6 like usual. We had the buffet it cost about 51.26 for two of us for the dinner buffet. The food was delicious but the dessert seemed old. The waitress was nice and stayed on top of things, the girl that rung us up seemed irritated. The woman at the rewards counter was very nice along with the security guy checking I.D. The casino was fun and hopping no complaints there. All in all the experience had its ups and downs I'm not sure if I'd stay there again but I'd go back for the food and the casino!

  Great stay at hotel. All staff is friendly and helpful. Kansas City Tower is my favorite for non-smoking accommodations. Bathtubs are awesome and beds are awesome for comfort. Guest parking is convenient. Covered parking is available in bad weather. Variety of restaurants to choose from casual to upscale.

  Stayed here for a few days on a combined business and fun trip. Overall it was a pleasant stay but there were some hitches. First the good: The staff everywhere in the hotel, restaurants and casino were amazing. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to smile and say "hi" as they passed in the hallways. That was on thing that made our stay very nice The food in the restaurants ranged from very good to excellent. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Now for the not-so-good: It's an old property that is well-maintained by showing it's age in places. The walls in the room were dirty in places, but not "filthy" at all. There was not enough hot water in the mornings for shaving, though the showers were OK. There were also a couple of maintenance issues with the room, though nothing that prevented us from using it. We had a good stay, and if we visit Kansas City again we will likely give this Harrah's another try - if for no other reason because the people were so great.
