The one star is a little generous. Good location yeah....BUT 1) If your hotel is under construction, at least warn the guests so they can gauge their eardrums out before having to listen to the constant beeping and mind numbing jack hammering taking place here 2) check in is at 4? I didn’t realize it took 5 hours to clean a room. Don’t even THINK about checking in early. 3) valet parking is $35/night. There is literally a parking garage connected to the hotel so I’m not sure why I’m paying $35 to have my car moved a few feet. 4) microwave in our room didn’t work and staff refused to replace it. Love freezing cold leftovers..thanks 5) almost $400/night? There isn’t even a pool here. Good breakfast but other than that this place is awful.

Staff were friendly, prices were expected for being downtown. Lobby and rooms were very clean. Breakfast selection was excellent! No in-room safe. Beds were a little too firm for me. Room temperature swung way too much.

The room was comfy. The tub was huge. I had a single king suite. I am not a fan of valet-only parking, and there were constantly people waiting for their vehicles. I believe they need to increase their valet staff. The room had a fridge and microwave which for me, is nice. The breakfast was full and saved me some decent downtown expense! Staff was very accommodating when I showed up for a work trip and had issues with work billing. I brought in a Papa John's pizza and wasn't accosted by hotel food security for doing such a thing!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... This is a very inexpensive hotel with high quality for the price. Yes there is a parking fee, but it is not mandatory and you can park elsewhere for a lower price. I paid it with no problems as the car was close by and I needed it for short travel. There is a free breakfast, snacks in the evening that varies based on day. twice it was cookies and once it was meatballs and bread. There were stations of tea and coffee available if you wanted to work in the lobby. That alone made it worth it and the hotel was the same price as the other hotel we looked at. Rooms were larger than comparable hotels, you got a refrigerator, bathrooms were clean, and service was much better than the last 2 hotels we stayed at in the city.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights while attending an event at the Music Hall a block away. The rooms were clean and had enough pillows for me. The free breakfast in the morning was the usual fare, but was excellent and had enough choice available to satisfy everyone in my group. An added bonus was there was usually a snack of some sort in the evening. It's proximity to everything downtown and it's surprisingly quiet location really helps simplify things.
