Decent hotel. Building was in good condition, it's in a convenient location to the highway and shares a parking lot with Ameristar Casino. You can walk all the way to the casino without going outside. They have a continental breakfast, pool, gym and plenty of parking. The lobby is nice and there is a patio out back with a view of the river that runs behind the hotel. There is a place to walk dogs with a dog waste station off the side. Rooms are large, beds and pillows are decent. HVAC worked well. No weird smells. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Ice machines are conveniently placed around the facility and there is a small shop in the lobby for snacks and drinks. Computer available in the lobby.

We had a difficult time finding this place and ran into some road construction doing so. We had no idea it was connected to the casino. That would not have been our choice. The rates were reasonable then and it was where we needed to be. It was a one-night stay. We chose to eat off the premises for dinner and the hotel served a decent breakfast. Luggage racks were in short supply and since the guest ahead of us parked her large dog-crate on the usable one, we carried all our luggage inside. The hotel is pet friendly, has non-smoking rooms, an indoor pool, and fitness and business centers. Parking is in a large free lot, because it's used for the hotel and casino. Our room was right next to the Lobby, but we didn't have noise issues. A free 5-mile downtown shuttle is offered.

Great hotel! Clean, good breakfast, especially liked the shuttle considering other hotels have discontinued post COVID. Shuttle took us to downtown restaurants, zoo and airport, terrific! The hotel is close to bike path that can take you downtown, parks, great for early morning walk.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament my grandson was in. Very nice. Rooms were very clean. Employees bend over backwards to help. They have a free breakfast my husband liked. A fire pit to sit around. And the beds were actually comfortable.

LOUDEST hotel I have ever stayed at. I am writing this at 3:30 am and the noise in the hall is incredibly loud. People are partying in the hall and going in and out of each other rooms so constant door banging. The paper thin wall and thin doors let every noise in. I usually don’t have issues with noise because I wear hearing aids and take them out when I sleep. I called the front desk and there was no answer. I went down to the front desk at 2:30 and the front desk person was overwhelmed with the party in the lobby. Some of the people partying in the lobby were screaming at the front desk person because he was trying to get them to be quiet. I feared for his safety and told him to call the police but he said it would take two hours for them to get there. I feared for my safety so went back to my room. I was on the fifth floor and at 2:30 the hall had lots of people in it going in and out of other rooms and they were not using their inside voices. It was unbelievable. While I write this I hear other guests trying to sleep yelling at people to be quiet. So while the rooms are clean and newly updated the walls and doors are thin thin thin. Too bad I picked the wrong night to stay here. I like to gamble so this hotel being hooked to the Ameristar by a walkway was convenient but unfortunately not enough convenience to overcome the annoyance of the thin walls.
