Terrible, terrible store. The dresses are gorgeous, but their cost is a complete rip off. John, the boss, told me that my dress was $360. After insisting, he lowered it to $260-something. It's not so great if you consider the fact that it took less than $10 to make it in a sweatshop in a foreign country. Anyway, I took it home, and when I looked at it, there was a big rip at the bottom and several little bad details around the dress. I took it back and he tells me "well, I remember giving you a good deal for it anyway". I was frustrated. I paid that much for a ripped dress. Thanks, John. After that I told him to discount the rip of the dress from the adjustments his seamstress had to make. He ended up charging more than $50 for cutting the bottom, straps, and making me a shawl from the ripped material (yes, the shawl ended up having a hole as well). He's charging to make a shawl when the day I bought the dress he had said that it would be free. Then he tells me that he'll discount $10 for the rip the dress had. You've got to be kidding me. He measured me and told me to be back in two weeks. I did, and guess what? The dress was four inches long on the ground WITH my three-inch shoes on. HE measured me. So he tells me that I have to come back in two weeks...when my prom has passed. He charged me even more because we had to 'rush it'. I am infuriated by how much advantage he took of me, but I was desperate for my dress. Never going back there again -- that's for sure! If you're going, be sure to be smart, inspect the dress, weigh the cost, and tell him details, or else he'll act like he never understood or heard you.
