  Not a place I would go, if I had a choice. A state office where they sell you a piece of paper, that allows you to do business with another state office. I think there is a criminal name for this. I had to buy the official state version of my birth certificate before the DMV would renew my drivers license, what do you think they wanted for identification before they would sell me their official version? My drivers license!

  A interesting building built in the 1930's. Records of Births and Deaths. Marriages, Taxes and Veteran services all in one building. Closes at 5pm Mon-Fri, but some departments may still assist you if your there before that, but not beyond 5.30. Check out the retro decor in the restrooms.
