  I live nearby and so happen to stop in to see if they can work with my extremely curly hair, I was greeted by a pleasant woman (wish I asked her, her name she made me feel comfortable from the second i walked in), she confidently informed me that extremely curly was not at all an issue. I felt so welcolmed I asked " can someone wash and flat iron my hair now"? She said "Sure" and led me to the hair washing station, where we had a little small talk and the hair washing began, I have to say she did a great job washing/conditioning my hair (gentle but thoroughly cleansed), I thought it was nice that she checked with me to make sure the water was good ( noted because many of salons on 8th ave that I've been to, didn't ask) she let me know what treatments they offered as well as the products they use, but she didnt "shove it down your throat" advertise" which I appreciated. After the wash, she led me to, Kelly, who did an amazing job on my hair, she was quiet but you could tell she knew what she was doing and that she was focused -( I once had a hair tech pass me off to a colleague to take over because she gave up lol, so I can pretty much tell if my hair tech knows what they're doing) she did my hair in 1 hour and 30 minutes tops, and the results were a lot better than I expected, I am a happy customer and will see them again.. Prices are very reasonable - All in all, very satisfied :D

  david is the best, professional etiquette and highly skilled. all in all, this may be one of the best hair salons within the vicinity.

  I always com here to see Anna for a cut. She never disappoints. I'm always pleased with her work.

  There is 1 good barber there, and it's one of the guys. I have tried 3 of them. The price is pretty high but I get consistent good haircuts from this barber so it's okay. $18 cut+wash
