  The 35th Annual African Street Festival, hosted by the African American Cultural Alliance, was AWESOME. The them was "Strengthen Our Family." We attended on Saturday. It was not overcrowded, they had a variety of interesting vendors in attendance as well as live music, dancing, and lots of food from around the world. In addition to entertainment activities, there were free health screenings, a children's area, voter registration center, etc available. It was a very well attended activity. We are looking forward to next year's festival.
