I've shopped at the Westheimer HEB for many years until they relocated. The new one on Alabama is excellent. The parking lot is absolutely enormous and even though I arrived before the after work crowd at 2pm or thereabouts the lot barely had any spaces! Once I entered (my first visit) I could see why so many shoppers were here. There were aisles for everything, several tasting stations, adequate staff for the crowd, and best of all, very reasonable prices! I selected more items than I would normally have due to the favorable prices and got checked out very quickly. At home I tried some of the bakery from the self-select station and it was so fresh and flaky/fluffy that I was sorely tempted to eat half the box of pastries rather than the (extra large) pastry I ended up eating. I will definitely shop here again so I'll have to really work on my pastry portion control!

We (My husband, son &I) went to HEB today to pick up my Mother's Day dinner after Mass and brunch. When my husband started making his famous quiche, the meat we purchased was not in our bags. My son was so devasted he went to nap time crying (he's 4). I called the store, not only did they bring us the meat and were very apologetic, as a Mother's Day present to me they gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a strawberry pie. Thanks Rudy and Devin for saving the day, my husband and son were able to prepare a wonderful Mother's Day dinner!

This is by far the best HEB that I have ever been in or for that matter have ever seen. I guess it's because of the location. I'm pretty sure that this HEB has just about anything or everything that you will need or want in a grocery store. They keep the store so clean and organized. The employees here that I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly and professional as well.

This HEB location has a wonderfully talented staff of people who work in both the floral and bakery section. While not the traditional choice, we came here looking for wedding vendors! Jeff in the Blooms department did an exceptional job on all of our flower arrangements. We enjoyed a fresh mix of pink roses and hydrangeas. I am still in awe of just how gorgeous my bridal bouquet was! Maggie, in the bakery department took care of our cake order, and she was such a sweet woman to work with. We showed her a picture of a cake we found on Pinterest, and without hesitation she committed to making it happen for our wedding. Maggie and Jeff even worked together to ensure that we received the flowers we wanted on our cake. Delivery was perfect, and went without a hitch. Hiring HEB for our cake and flowers is a decision that saved us an incredible amount of money. For all of our bouquets, centerpieces, and boutonnieres AND cake, the cost came in at about $1,000. At most places, you pay that just for a cake. If you're looking for a steal, but don't want to sacrifice quality, I highly recommend choosing this HEB location, and asking for Maggie and Jeff.

I have been going to this grocery store every week for the past 5 years and I think it's about time I write a review! First off - I love HEB and I love grocery shopping here! Seriously - I really enjoy my hour here once a week. I love all the samples, friendly staff, atmosphere, and wide selection. The main sample station (where they cook the food) used to be my favorite! I used to buy one of the items they were showcasing frequently. However, the new staff that maintains that station is not as friendly as the people before, which is unfortunate. They used to know us personally, which was great.
