Came here for coffee and snacks twice while I was staying in Queens. The cappuccino was surprisingly great! Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Very disappointed. The turkish bagel “simit” waited 20 mins for fresh one... I went and came back customer services was ok... But the simits were not well cooked and inside you can see that dough was not cooked :( will not go again.

Gulluoglu is simply so-so. I was hoping it was going to be noteworthy Turkish baklava based on the fact that this is an American outpost of a legit Turkish chain, but it is not anything to write home about- or perhaps my expectations were just too high. Service is mostly non-existent. The employees behind the counter are (seemingly) cold, unsmiling, and speak very little, if at all. I'm not asking for a friendly exchange, but the few staff I've witnessed here are just awkwardly quiet. And the baklava, the supposed gems of the Gulluoglu brand, is just okay. I normally love Turkish baklava- more than Greek baklava, in fact, because it's less sweet and syrupy, usually. But the baklava here missed the mark. Per their website, their baklava is vacuum-sealed and flown to the US locations from Istanbul to "guarantee" their "trademark quality". But my pistachio baklava was a bit too dry, and my walnut baklava was a bit too syrupy and soggy. I'll admit, I'm not any baklava expert, but I've had enough of it in my lifetime, be it Greek, Turkish, or Arabic, to know what's good, or at least what I like. And I will definitely not be rushing back to this place any time soon.

The nice Turkish lady named Jiran behind the counter is so kind and as sweet as their Baklava

Çok guzal! I got so excited when I saw this cute Turkish bakery in my new neighborhood, I'm looking forward to trying out some of their pastries. I had a Turkish coffee when I went in and they were really pleasant, def want to go back.
