  My son has progressed remarkably under Mitch's instruction. I am constantly amazed at the complexity of music he can read and the caliber to which he can play at only 11 years old. Also Mitch’s intimate involvement in the local classical guitar scene provides his students exposure to other great guitarist/teachers from around the world, gives them the opportunity to hear amazing music, and lets them have their own performances.

  Over the past 6 years my son has taken lessons from Mitch and has progressed in every phase of the instrument while gaining a sound music foundation and an appreciation for classical music. Mitch's teaching philosophy is fully mature and he remains very well connected with musicians locally and globally. Incredible teacher!

  My son has taken from Mitch from the age of 7, now 13, progress steadily. Mitch's teaching style - technically, musically, and relationally to youth - is rock solid. Additionally, he stays connected to professional muscians around the country/world and creates opportunities for his students to learn from the very best.
