I had the most humiliating experience in my entire life at this store. I am a very easy customer and I do not give bad reviews to entities like that but what I have experienced in this store is beyond disrespectful and it gives me a very negative perception about this business values and culture. First, I went there this last Monday morning with a friend (artist from France) who saw a guitar she really liked. Si ce she was supposed to leave the day after for France. I talked to the store Manager that I will come back the evening to get the actual guitar and some other stuff. When I came back the guy was so busy and assign me one of his associate, a young lady. Since the manager proposed me a coupon discount, the young lady told me she can apply that discount to the product I am buying but if buy a more expensive guitar she will give me a bigger discount. Then I allow my self, as a customer, to asked her if she can apply that to this purchase. She said, β€œthis guitar you buying is nothing for us. We use bigger transaction.” (In a very rude way). I was a little bit shocked but I try to positivise and force my self to think she did not mean that. But I replied with a smile β€œso people who buy $300 guitar are not considered here.” We both laugh thene we went to the register. Once there she told me that that guitar exposed was the last they had; therefore, she can give me a 10% discount on the actual price. From that point, I found legitimate to ask her the question, β€œif both discount will apply, the first coupon they gave me and the 10 % of the last item exposed.” Then she start getting pissed throwing all kind of disrespectful world to me. Telling me β€œsir i will not give you this for free. This is nothing compare to what we dealing with.” I did not answer. Then I aked to the manager the same question because I wanted him to take over but he just left me hanging with the rude lady who was still talking. Telling me that was rude to ask the manager. And the Manager was there smiling. Then she start making fun of me. I wish there are camera in the store so that people could see the scene. I was so embarrassed. She left the register saying she will not help me anymore. Then when I thought I will finally check out and get out from that store she came back arguing. I literally I apologize to her in front of everybody. β€œAnd tell her I am wrong she is right. I am the one, as a customer, who should apologize. β€œ and she reply β€œhell yes, i am always right. Pulling her tong out.” What was shocking was not her attitude but how funny it was to the manager. He was there smiling . Did not even bother to tell her to be quick. I know some people would wonder why was I so patient and still got the guitar. Because my friend loved that one and she was going back to france and I really wanted to take her with them. It was late at that night to go elsewhere. I love art, and always thought that anywhere people deal with art is a place where you will find less discrimination but I was disappointed. I do believe that a $2 of a customer should not be different from a $100 in terms of how they should be treated. My guitar was put in a dusty bag and I hard no apologize from anybody of that store. This was humiliating.
