I love this bank. Only live two blocks away. Very friendly staff.

Many of the reviews here are noting the recent transition to Citizens, which has been horribly managed by both companies. I want to further mention my experience with this specific branch when I went in to close out my accounts (my only experience with this branch, as I used to go to the much better Juneau Village branch before that was shut down). The branch manager was extremely high pressure, asking my multiple times why I wanted to switch banks, warning me about "fees" that might apply (none did), and finally pointing me to the wrong form to process the closure. Luckily, the teller behind the counter was able to be at least somewhat helpful and process my request (albeit incorrectly, though the awesome folks over at my new bank were able to work around her mistake). Those looking for a new banking home with a downtown branch: I highly recommend Bank Mutual over on Wisconsin Avenue. The staff are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the account features, etc. are pretty similar to what you would have had over at Guaranty (maybe even a little better if you can maintain a high enough checking balance to jump into one of their higher tiers).

Is this branch still open? Saturday's JournalSentinel article and the First Citizens postings say that the stand-alone locations will remain open.

Employees aren't trained very well. The policies are ridiculous. It used to be a good bank. I am glad I left. Wouldn't recommend.
