  The coffee and service are great. The baked goods look amazing, but are pretty disappointing. This doesn’t bother me, but the way the acoustics of the place work out, it’s always crazy loud in here.

  One of the best mocha lattes I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet, had a great flavor, good size, good price, and well made. Place had a good atmosphere. Was clean for a 2PM visit. Had a bit of foot traffic, and pretty busy, but only one person in front of me. Coffees were coming out at a good pace and the staff was nice. I'd definitely come back and go out of my way if I were in the area to get another coffee from here.

  Best espresso/ coffee in DC! The staff was very kind and seemed to enjoy their work.

  Superb coffee, delicious almond butter + chia + strawberry toast, and great service. Reasonable value for the high quality. This is a welcome addition to downtown’s many coffee places.

  So this location just opened. I had heard they had opened up shop in DC but didn't know much other than that it was a coffee joint from New York. Pleasantly surprised! Try their iced coffee for starters it has a great after taste, almost like mocha. Their whole wheat doughnut is delicious and filling, as are their buckwheat balls - I tried the chocolate one. A tad bit pricey, but worth the stop!
