  I would give -10 stars!!! Stay away from this Credit Union. They do not work for you but against you. So many complaints about them. One for example, I had a dispute for a measly 54.11 and they denied my dispute. The company that the 54.11 was paid to, told me to dispute it bc there was no payment showing on their end. I can’t imagine if it would have been 100s. Oh another one, you cannot deposit checks for your children signed payable to you. Definitely do not recommend. I’ve never had to write a bad review on a financial institute, yet here I am… Seriously do not trust this place w your money!!

  Hello everyone I hope you please read carefully and think maybe 5 times before getting an account with this branch. On the 26th of October 2022, I drove up to the ATM, inserted my debit card and chose the option to deposit a total of $5,000 which I did not know this ATM had a limit sorry for my ignorance. The ATM gave a message of the exceeded limit and return half of the amount which was $2,500. After that, it asked me if I would like to do another transaction and so I did to deposit the remaining amount of $2,500. The ATM machine made an alarm noise, kept my card and the whole $5,000. The amount was NEVER credited to my account the card was kept by the ATM, I called the card services the same time that all this happen and the lady there said she could not do anything all I had to do was go back the next day to talk to someone inside the branch. I have been talking to the Manager Daniel, but all he gives me is that no error occurred. This is ridiculously unbelievable all I wanted to do is deposit my money so it could be safe but apparently I got ROBBED by THIS GREATER TEXAS CREDIT UNION of all people.

  Came into this branch on a whim since I am currently shopping around to transfer my bank accounts over to a local credit union. The staff and branch manager were all very friendly, courteous, and answered my questions. Overall I left with a very good impression of this branch and credit union as a whole, highly recommend people who may be more local to Arlington than I am to check this branch out!

  GTFCU once was reflective of a true credit union. Over the last few years this credit union has drastically declined in member service as many of the reviews are low ratings. Endured several setbacks just prior and during the pandemic; job loss, covid disability, downsizing and more. Most thankful to God I am finally starting to rebuild in all aspects. “BIG” banks; credit card and loan lenders have been more supportive than GTFCU. Just a week ago I was denied a car loan even to refi ( I counter offered) and to convert my secured credit card to unsecured (no late payments). Several years as a GTFCU member and now with increased credit score of mid 600’s (still rebuilding) and net income over 55k -I received a resounding NO. I requested an appeal on the decline and the loan officer told me the decision was already reviewed by the board. My goal is to obtain a 700+ credit score in a few months in preparation to purchase a home. GTFCU has demonstrated that my membership is of no value, I will not consider any products including lending again.

  Came in twice today to open an account, the 1st time I waited 20 minutes and left because no one was available to help the relationship manager had a client in her office. Then I came back an hour later to try again and waited 30 minutes this time the relationship manager just sat at her desk with no client and didn’t even acknowledge me as I was walking out. I am glad I experienced this upfront, because an account here with Greater Texas Credit Union would have been terrible to deal with. I definitely do not recommend anyone to do business with them.
