  I have been a member of Great Neck Body & Brain Yoga - Tai Chi for about 3 years now. Before I became a member, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. I was unable to function. I was disoriented, had trouble concentrating. I could not drive. I could not get on an airplane. I was unable to socialize with family and friends. I had no appetite and as a result, I lost weight. The doctor’s put me on anxiety medication, but this only made me feel worse. I was at Witt’s End. I started to use Yoga as an outlet to fight anxiety. I started going to yoga classes. I noticed that I was not as disoriented after I took the classes. I continued with the classes and started to see additional improvements after a few months. My appetite started coming back. I felt better about myself. I started socializing again. I am so glad that I started these Yoga classes and I plan on continuing to take Yoga classes and to do Yoga exercises every day as I like the way I feel. I have now gained back most of the weight that I had lost.

  Awesome place in Great Neck. Joined because all the stress I had in my life and just a few months later, I'm a completely new person. All the instructors are so caring and so much fun. I leave the center with a big smile on my face. I'm living a much healthier and happier lifestyle. My energy levels are greater and I feel like I can go out into the world again. They have many wonderful workshops too that I have learned so much attending. You don't know what you're missing, come try it out for yourself. It's wonderful!

  Master Sky and his staff are just amazing. You work your body, and mind and at the end of class you feel lighter and so much happier. You feel like a new person. It is the best time up for our body and mind. I have been practicing for 16 years. It has helped me in so many ways. I am lighter, calmer, more centered, patient and kind. It is a very important part of my life.my body and mind are strong and prepared to Face any obstacle.
