  Went to this great clips after waiting for over 40 minutes at a different location the previous day. Even though it was a fairly busy Sunday morning, the stylists kept to the order of the check ins and got me back fairly quickly. Lou was great. Perfect amount of conversation I’d like during a quick trim, super friendly. I’ll be returning to this location, even though it’s not the closest to my house

  This is my go to local salon on 48th St and Elliot. The prices are reasonable especially when I get a $7.99 coupon or 2 in the mail. This is my neighborhood Great Clips. I have tried many different Great Clips in the valley with many different hair stylists and I've been pretty satisfied overall. I mean it gets a bad rap for just being a factory of haircuts with not too much Innovation and style but because I have very very short hair there's not too much they can mess up. I learn to use the app because I spent a lot of time waiting in chairs when I could have just downloaded the app, got in synch with the process and checked in online. That's the only way to get a fast appointment. Today at 9, I checked in and it was a 45 minute wait and I could not believe that because who would want to be getting their haircut at 9 on a Thursday morning? So I waited. It was well over 45 minutes but there was still one person ahead of me on the screen. There was only one guy cutting hair, so I yelled out since no one greeted me, ..Is there only one of you here today? He said oh no theres another girl here. She'll help you as soon as she comes back inside. So I stood at the counter and waited and waited and waited and nobody came so I started to get a little angry so I went outside. I was going to go behind the building and drag her back in there but I saw a girl in black on the phone smoking a cigarette. I said hello can you help me because I assumed she was the hairdresser and she hung up her phone and came over said follow me. She went around to the counter and said.. oh okay your next follow me. I was a little upset that I had to stay in there for 8 minutes waiting but anyway I moved on. I was thinking of going to the other Great Clips on Ray Road cuz it said there was a zero wait time and I was upset nobody greeted me when I walked in but I let it go. The problem was I was in a hurry because I was going to go to a Diamondback game. I had had a mishap the night before because I bought some clippers so I could clip my hair in between haircuts because I was tired of paying for a haircut every 3 weeks. So I thought if I could trim it up a little bit myself and get the fuzzies off my ears that that would be the best way to go. Unfortunately when I tried to go in the back of my head and I didn't have the attachment on the Clipper fell out of my hand and buzzed over the back of my head and I cut away a big chunk of hair by accident. So there was a big mess in the back of my head which meant that it took off all my hair and made like a track of baldness. I took off my hat and I showed the hair stylist the mess that I made. She actually help fix it and really did a good job. She was very sweet about it and cut my hair to make it look decent. I will come back to this Salon over and over again especially when they send me a $7.99 coupon.

  I took my 3-year-old grandson for a haircut this morning. I didn't have an appointment and I didn't have a lot of time. He's been traumatized by prior haircutting experiences and sobbed when he first got in the chair. We were lucky enough to get Sue, who was so kind, gentle, patient, and just amazing. She calmed my grandson. Before long he had stopped crying, and almost seemed to enjoy himself. Sue will be our go-to for all future haircuts. Great experience!! Thank you, Sue!!!

  I had a very pleasant experience at this Great Clips. My stylist was friendly and got did a fantastic job touching up my undercut!
