::I had been going to this office for about 1 1/2 years for my cleanings and X-rays. However, I use a different dentist for all other needs. During my last visit the hygienist said I needed x-rays, well I knew it was not time. I told her the insurance would not pay and neither would I – I should not need x-rays yet. She responded, the dentist wants them so, I wouldn't be charged. Well, I allowed her to take them. When the dentist came in, he recommended several fillings and two crowns - one on a tooth that had been done by my other dentist a month before my visit. At this point, I decided I was done with them but unfortunately, they are not done with me. My dental insurance company denied the claim for the x-rays (that I was told I would not be charged for) now they want my medical insurance information to submit a claim to them. I have spoken with Megan 3 times regarding this matter, who stated "legally she cannot adjust the charges for service that were provided." She wants to “help” me by filing the claim. I am not going to submit a claim for services that should not be billed. I have requested a corrected bill which I will gladly pay and submitted to appropriate insurance carrier. I CANNOT recommend Grant Park Dental – I believe they manipulated me to get more money from the insurance company. I am very disappointed…
