  I would have given them a 2-star review if today hadn't happened, but no, they get a 1-star review. Honestly, if I could give them 0 stars for today, I would. I first used them when my toilet was repeatedly flushing and flushing and flushing, over and over again, refilling, etc. I thought that it would eventually overflow, so I called them as emergency plumbing services in the area. Mind you, their office is in Williamsburg, and I live in Williamsburg. The technician came from way out in Long Island, so it took an hour for him to get to me. Ridiculous for an emergency visit from a company that is based in my neighborhood. He fixed the problem temporarily, but it took him a while to find how to turn off the water. The cost was insane. He changed the fill valve but charged me about $125 to actually do it (an extra $150 for the service call). Kind of crazy pricing. The toilet started running less frequently, but running, about 24 hours later. Now it runs constantly, like every 10 minutes. I called them to send someone out to get it fixed again, since the first call didn't work, and they said, sure, they'd send someone out this morning between 9:30 and 10:30. No one had arrived by 11, so I called and asked where he was. They said it would be awhile and rescheduled me to the 4-6pm slot. Fine. Well, at 6, no one had shown up, so I called. They said the person was in traffic and that he would be here soon. In the meantime, they said he would call me with a more accurate ETA. He never called. At 7:15, they said he was on another job (???). I just told them their business sucked and to cancel. What a waste of a day. And my toilet is still running!!!!!!

  I had a great experience with Grand street plumbing. I called them after hurricane sandy to repair my pipes which were flooded and full of garbage from the flood. The technician came right on time, and didn't leave until he got the job done which was around 10:30pm.. Thank you guys!
