WARNING RENTER BEWARE: UPDATED as of 4/3/18 So I would love to say the living conditions improved since my original review but they have actually gotten worse. They are "renovating" for the past few months which results in no visible change at least not on the first floor and is creating excessive noise for all current tenants at the end of my wing. It's been a living hell with the constant hammering at all hours during the day. Life has been miserable and I simply want peace and quiet. They want to attract more tenants at the expense of people that already live here. I want to let people know that they have little to no consideration for current tenants. The location is great and a very nice neighborhood with a grocery store close by. Downtown Denver is about a 2 hour walk/run and very close I assume if you drive so if you love walking and have the time you can get some good cardio in this way. Most of the staff seem nice enough and pleasant as well as the other tenants here. The apartments look great and its a nice cozy place. They have a fitness room I haven't gotten around to using yet and a courtyard which at the moment isn't active. I believe they also have a pool somewhere. This place is huge! But unfortunately as stated before I have been having some issues. The mail key they gave me didn't work and they said they would get me a new one "asap" which took them about 3 whole weeks and I only just got it today. I have a stack of legal papers and important documents that I had to complete as soon as I could. There were a couple of issues that weren't immediately noticeable. One was my bathroom drawer which they fixed without any issues. The maintenance guy that I met with that fixed my drawer was a nice guy and did a good job on that but whoever the one that was supposed to fix the leak in my toilet tank made the problem even worse and left it. Originally the toilet was leaking from the side of the tank. It was only leaking a little bit and I didn't notice until the toilet carpet I had was soaking wet. I put in a work order and after a couple days I came back to a bathroom that was completely wet, all my towels had been trashed and it was now leaking from a stream out the same spot and the water main was also leaking. I don't really understand why he would leave a job half assed and knowing what I know about basic plumbing if I had the money and equipment I could have done a better job then that. Its going to cost the apartment more for potential water damage and I'm going to have to buy new towels now. Just bad for everyone all around and very embarrassing! Needless to say I am upset about the whole affair and any time I came to staff about these issues some of them get overly defensive and reluctant to even talk to me. The bottom line is that this stuff needs to be fixed and its not unreasonable requests. I simply want to to have a livable environment and for them to respect me as a good tenant because I know I am. As I said before most of the staff seems nice but some of them seem to carry this negative attitude and predisposition when dealing with tenant issues, as if they don't want anything to do with them. I'm not Mr. Zenmaster myself but they could definitely do with an attitude change and above all treat your clients with respect and work on improving that. Those of you with this attitude know who you are. I like the place aside from the issues but these obvious problems have negated 2 stars from when I originally moved in. I may change my review if it gets better or worse here. I know they want more people to move in and I want to say this is a great place to live but I have to make clear these issues. I've also heard that they overcharge here I can't personally speak to that regard as I happen to have a case manager that helps me with rental finances and I would have to discuss how that is with her when I can. But based on the fact that most of the reviews say that and I seem to have less funds to work with lately I'm inclined to believe it.

The place looks great and the staff is friendly. They are really good at getting you hooked and convincing you that you actually have a shot at getting an apartment here by charging you an application fee and giving you an application package, but I have been on multiple waiting lists for almost a year and have been bouncing around between sublets thinking I would have had an apartment by now and the original quoted price keeps changing due to the market the whole time. Depending on who you talk with at The Lofts, you are told different things. My number has bounced around on the waiting lists a couple of different times, from getting my hopes up being "next in line for an apartment" one week, all to come crashing down to "number 18 on the list" a couple of days later. Wish I could say better things because the concept and apartments look really cool, but it is truly a waiting list nightmare and they keep advertising and putting more people on the lists!

I lived at the Grand Lowry Lofts for almost two years and really liked it there. The apartments are all unique with high ceilings and large kitchens and bathrooms (at least in my apartment). The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and it has a bunch of new restaurants and bars. The office staff were always really nice to me and any problems that I had were taken care of fairly quickly. Parking was never an issue for me and they offer underground parking too for a little extra a month. There is generally a waiting list to get an apartment here so be aware of that and they have a great income assistance program. If I ever moved back to Denver, I would definitely try to get a place here again.
