  Hardworking mechanics. High volume business. Sad that no money is being put back into the building. It is a real busy dump. Signage gone, marquis falling apart, certain no place for kids. Run down tired filthy waiting area and bathroom. They still do excellent work in spite of their embarassing facility. Shame.

  I ordered a tire online with the promise that they'd be able to install in the next day. I showed up on time for my appointment, dropped my car off, and walked to get coffee. Almost a half our later, I get a call saying that the tire I ordered doesn't fit my car and I need to cancel my online order. In the mean time, he can put on a tire that fits. Okay. I walk back to talk to the manager and get the number I need to call. After 20 minutes, I cancelled the order but they won't be able to give me my money back for 4-6 business days. Goodyear just banished the money I was planning to pay with out into the neither. I tell the manager. He has to put my car back on the rack, take my new tire off, put my jacked up tire back on, and then I can drive it out. I called Goodyear to try and get them to credit me or something so I can pay for the tire and save them the trouble of swapping them out. They didn't even know where to begin helping me. It seems like a decent enough shop but corporate is dogshit. Don't go here. Go somewhere where someone in charge is on site. Playing middle man between corporate and the shop was a nightmare. I'm still waiting for my refund. Don't end up like me because you bought something from Goodyear.

  My first impression was good. I liked that it was close to my office. They were relatively quick to complete the work I asked them to do. What ruined it for me was last week, when I brought my car in for a flat tire repair. They told me they wouldn't fix the flat because it "already had one previous repair." They said they didn't want to "put me in danger." When insisted that they place the bad tire back on the wheel (so I could get it fixed somewhere else) they did, but they apparently knocked one of the balance weights off in the process, causing the wheel to vibrate horribly. I'd like to think that this was purely an accident. I took the car to a neighborhood mechanic that I trust. He was happy to fix and re-balance the tire. The tire now holds air just fine, and doesn't shake any more.

  Great service. Had my battery replaced and the oil changed. There were no unexpected costs, and they got everything finished earlier than projected. The staff were very polite. If you work in the Downtown Houston area, this looks like a good spot for auto maintenance.
