  I am not one to write online reviews but I had to after this experience because I feel I have to let others know about this amazing dentist. I don't trust doctors or dentists, and especially have a fear of dental work and Dr. Goodman somehow calmed my nerves as soon as he walked in the room. somehow I felt I could trust him and it turned out to be true. I had an old filling (from a different dentist 8 years ago) and I had to get a root canal - I was terrified. It all turned out to be fine and painless and I feel much better now after the work. I have had several dentists in my past and I've never encountered a more gentle conscientious dentist that Dr. Goodman. He is also extremely meticulous, precise and detail-oriented. You can tell he really cares about every patient and every treatment he performs, and the result is happy teeth and a confident smile from me. I am now working with him to finally straighten my teeth using invisalign, and so far the process has been easy and painless. I will be recommending all of my friends to come to him, even if they have to travel a bit because he's a rarity. Definitely top-rate dental care for Staten Island and New York City.

  I brought my 2 children to Dr. Goody after having several anxiety invoking experiences with other local dentists. Dr. Goody and his staff immediately put us at ease. He worked efficiently and professionally, spending 40 minutes with each child on their first visit. We left the office feeling taken care of and not frightened and overwhelmed as with other dentists we had seen in the past. Our entire family will be returning to him for regular cleanings and check ups. I recommend him and his welcoming staff to anyone seeking a first class dental experience.

  He ruined my mouth and stole the $2000 i put down. He pulled a tooth and clipped off a piece of my bone leaving a hollow dip in my gums ruining my smile. He is a monster. When i asked for my records and my money back they called the police on me. They told the police i was trespassing and called me horrible racist names. When the police came they arrested me for trespassing but when i provided the credit card receipt for the $2000 they were just as upset. They released me and the next day delivered my records to me. Stay away from this monster. This is five years later. I would never even talk about my horrors there. That's why i never sued. Every time i tried to tell a lawyer my story. I would fold up. This man is a monster. Run for your hygienic health. Even if he did it because I am black, you know what he is capable of. Why are there so few reviews anyway. I still have all the proof of what he did. Even the arrest ticket where he says he does not know who I am and the credit card receipt of the $2000 he took from me. The before and after xrays as well. RUN I had to put one star for it to post it seems. He didn't even deserve that!! I see he added that I am not a patient??? I don't even look like his patient??? I am at work but I certainly will look for and find the bill and ticket and prove to you who I am. This man is a liar and a bigot and I stand by it. I am divorced, my name at the time was Carolyn Brown. Yes you know who I am!!!

  I needed special care and I started to look for a dentist. After lots of research I found Dr. Goodman. The care he took to evaluate my condition was absolutely outstanding. Not only he gave me choices but also told me that I did not need the most expensive treatment, as other dentists tried to sell me. During the procedure Dr. Goodman was extremely meticulous and at the same time was jovial and made me feel comfortable. When done, I actually thought he didn't do anything because it had been painless. He was also very forthcoming in telling me I could call his office at anytime if I feel pain or discomfort in the next couple of days.... I did not, but I almost felt like calling him anyway to thank him some more ! I hope there were better words than "I strongly recommend Dr. Goodman", but I strongly do !

  This has been by far my best experience ... I have been going to Dentist for many years and have not been happy ... He truly is one of the best dentist around. Very personable and great staff.
