  PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE OR ANY GNC LOCATION WITHOUT DOING YOUR RESEARCH FIRST. Had a very unfortunate experience at this store. Went to purchase supplements and was advised by store manager Brody to purchase niacin which I had not inquired about. Decided to take his suggestion and to my misfortune had a bad reaction to it and not from the "flushing effect" that niacin would normally produce. I was not given any warning or additional information on the product at the time of purchase. I was not even informed at the time of purchase of an optional "non-flushing" niacin that perhaps would had been a better fit. I ended up in the ER, after I immediately took the product. I was transported by EMS, this happened while I was home alone. I contacted the store to inform them about the incident. Never received a call from Brody, store manager or any memebers of the management team. I got in contact multiple times with GNC's corporate office and no luck either. I have been dealing with this situation since October of 2016 up to today, March 15, 2017. I submitted a claim to GNC's Insurance Dept since I had a large out of pocket expense for my medical care and was denied since they feel the product is safe for public sale. That may be the case, but not when you have incompetent and poorly trained staff that would rather make a sale on products they have no or little knowledge and can compromise the health and safety of a customer. Would hate for someone to go through my same experience or worst.
