    I did the Groupon package for 2. Just FYI there is a hefty fuel charge on arrival, but they told me before booking so I knew about it. Wendy was our instructor, she was fun and a great experienced reacher I would def go again but bring anti nausea medication because the backseat is bumpy.

    My boyfriend and I did a flight lesson together about a month ago. Our instructor was fantastic and very informative. Seeing as how we are in a long distance relationship, my boyfriend and I upgraded to include a video to capture our flight. We only get to see each other a few times a year so the video was well worth the $40 and we were very much looking forward to receiving it. After our flight, we were e-mailed the video only to see that it was of completely different people. After several e-mail exchanges we were informed that the video had been lost and we were only offered a reimbursement for those $40 out of the total $300 we spent. We received no apology. We tried contacting the flight school several times both by e-mail and phone to find out if we could try harder to find the video or be offered some sort of further reimbursement for this mistake. After a month of trying to contact Global Aviation, we finally got in touch with the manager, Brian. He said the camera malfunctioned, offered no apologies, and said there's nothing they can do. I understand that mistakes happen- technical glitches occur and files get lost. However, this video meant a lot to us and we definitely deserved more than a nasty attitude, no apology, and a $40 refund. I work in customer service and would have NEVER handled the situation like this- if you're a company that specializes in special moments like flight lessons, you should place more value on properly capturing this moment and taking appropriate responsibility if and when you screw it up. They eventually offered me a free video if we choose to fly again but why would I do that? So they can lose that video too and be unapologetic for that as well? No thanks.
