  I am not one to ever write a review for this type of thing, but I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. According to Glade Modern Dentistry I needed many crowns, a tooth extraction, and other work done that was originally quoted to me at an unbelievable cost of $10,000. I was told this would take several visits. At my second visit, we had some changes to the treatment. I asked very specifically. "What is my total for the ENTIRE treatment" I was told $8,600. At my third visit I signed off on what procedures I was doing that day and again asked "What is my total for the entire project". This time I was told $25,000. I could not believe this. Nothing had been added to my treatment. When i asked why this had gone from $10K to $8.6K to now $25K I was told the other quotes were for only half of my mouth. Who gives you an estimate for half of the project? They did admit that they were at fault for this, but did nothing to rectify the issue. I asked 3 times for what my total on the entire project was before they told me the true actual cost. At this time they had already been paid over $7,000. I tried to reach a mutual agreement to finish the treatment that i thought was very fair, but they declined. I will not be returning.

  I have never written a review before in my life, but this experience warranted one. My husband and I both would NEVER recommend this office. After asking for the basic treatment that our insurance covered, the dentist REFUSED treatment as they "did not feel comfortable" just doing that. Instead, we were asked to pay close to $400 each for a deeper cleaning. This was after almost 2 hours of waiting/x-rays/discussing x-rays. We also received a bill in our mail recently for another $400 for extra x-rays we did not request. Needless to say, we found another dentist we are very happy with.

  I absolutely LOVE this place! Dr. Dave is the best, and his staff is awesome. They make sure you very comfortable, and they always let you know what they're going to do before doing it. They calmed my nerves a lot. I highly recommend Dr. Dave at Glade Modern Dentistry.

  I am completely shocked by the bad reviews. I've been coming to this Dr. Dave for the past 4 years. I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else that's how much I love this office. The staff and Dentist are caring and very cordial. I've never experienced the pain or mistakes during procedures like I have at other dentists. I've been burned and stabbed with tools at other places but not here. Stsff at other places rude and unprofessional but not here! They are indeed a bit more expensive than my previous Dentist depending on what you're getting but I'd gladly pay more for higher quality work and products. I like their top of the line crowns which brings me to why I decided to write today's review. I went in wanting a crown replaced done by another Dentist in the HEB area around 2013. The crown has slipped some and was not a good match in my mouth like the crowns Dave has done. so for cosmetic reasons and because I thought the tooth was or would cause me problems from slipping I told them I wanted it replaced. . I was ready card in hand...to fork over almost $900!!! This office is NOT money hungry!!! Dr Dave inspected the crown and said while I might not like how it looks... it's sound. He tested it for pain and sensitivity and he found no issue with the crown. Maybe if I would've insited they may have done the work but for me I think it's great that he treated my concern seriously. Checked everything out but ultimately said hey I don't want you to give us money when there's truly no reason to. This office is A O.K. with me!!!
