::Wow, a legit deli experience. The sandwiches come wrapped in butcher paper, the homemade soup and cookies are run out when they run out, and the meat is high quality, butcher shop level delicious. The menu is there to give you an idea of how to build a sandwich, and you can order exactly that, but they make anything. Name the bread, the meats, the condiments, you're set. I love variations on the hogfather.

::$10 for soup and sandwich combo is a little pricey, but both were terrific. I didn't expect much from the tomato soup, but it was fantastic. The sandwich was a spicy blend of italian meats on excellent toasted roll. I'll be back for lunch again.

::The sandwiches are truly beyond the normal deli. The James Beard Foundation would not have recognized the deli if it was not excellent. The recognition was well deserved. The hot salami is excellent but I have to say the Spicy Daggett is even better. If you have the opportunity,do not pass it up.
