Encountered this amazing vintage store without planning, I just passed it on the way to subway, was attracted by the store right away, and ended up staying here for one hour, bought four clothes and one scarf, all of them are designed for me, very chic stylish and affordable, absolutely a must-go vintage store in NYC!!!

In a city where locally owned businesses are disappearing as rapidly as the polar ice cap, GG's is a refreshing retreat. There are always great finds on their racks, at TRUE vintage-shop prices, and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I hope GG's sticks around for a long time, as they are truly a staple of the neighborhood.

I'm from the Bay so we've got some pretty cool vintage shops but this one definitely tops them off. This place is SUPER vintage and has the coolest selection of clothes and accessories. I'm just visiting but I wish I lived here so I could come here more!! Definitely check this place out, you won't be sorry :)

I bought two pairs of vintage jeans and a little black dress. What a strange place. It's like a carnival tent/clothing store that's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I have to say the bathroom is really small and a little gross but hey most places don't even let you use their bathrooms. I found some real gems and that includes some pretty wacky interactions with the proprietors and a guy making handmade boots in the back. Definitely a scene. I might come back with more time so I can hang after I shop. Oh, and they'll haggle (or is that Hegel?) so name your price!
