  Our waiter had great suggestions and the food was delicious. Of course it was somewhat overpriced; it's fresh food in the desert. Nevertheless, it was a perfect place to replenish our energy before going back out into the Garden for another round of exploring. I had the arugula and dates salad with a side of cold cooked shrimp in olive oil with fresh basil, parsely, and thyme. It tasted quite good.

  Gertrudes has a unique menu that changes seasonally. The garden setting is lovely, at least as late as May, before it gets pretty warm. People tend to do early lunch, tables are shaded and all the plants make you feel like you are on someone's patio. My friend and I had two different lunch items and both were good. Our server was helpful and energetic.

  Desert botanical garden has provided a great place to take a break and having lunch. This place offers excellent beverages, specially cocktails. Food items, specially Mexican foods like meatball or wraps are very good but a little spicy. The best food here available is the salmon fillet. Staffs are very much cooperating and friendly.

  Great lunch spot when visiting the botanical garden Food is excellent, and great place to rest, cool down, and eat after visiting the garden in the morning. The blood orange/mint seltzer is amazing, a must try. We had the cheese morsel appetizer, it was excellent. I enjoyed my smoked salmon salad, and my husband really liked the burger. Make sure you make reservation in advance to avoid waiting.

  Good Food! Healthy options available on menu, from vegetarian and vegan and gluten-free. Waitstaff unbelievably friendly! Waiters that are not on you table are friendly and helpful. Good bar options too! Draft beer from local breweries, wine and mixed drinks. Food, price to portion, a little on the high dollar side. Inside and outside seating, quick and fast seating and service. Great place, will visit again.
