::I love this bike shop - best in new orleans in my opinion. When you take your bike in for repair, they give you an estimate and then once they go to work on it, they call to confirm if theres any extra cost. They keep a lot of parts in stock which means they can do repairs more quickly. The staff is super knowledgeable, dedicated to supporting bike culture, and friendly. I hate going anywhere else. ::i went to Gerken's Bike Shop to have my brakes adjusted. I have gone there several times to have my tire fixed and I always have a good experience. They asked about the bike and how it was riding and I decided to just have the brakes adjusted. They did an excellent job. My brakes are now awesome and they also tightened my gears and made sure the tires were in good shape. The service is great and efficient and done in a timely manner. I recommend them for your bike service.
