  Highly Highly disappointed and frustrated on the way we were treated today and the office canceled our appointments because no confirmation was received. We have provided over the years many times our cell phone numbers and they have our email address because we used to get confirmation requests through email- WHAT happened to that process- Ask the receptionist and no response. We weren't home for a couple days when messages were left. We have been patients for 15+ years and never once missed an appointment and it was rare we had to reschedule. We will be finding a new dentist and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

  Leslie - Dental hygienist - is amazing! I receive a quality cleaning and can feel the difference after seeing her compared to my previous hygienist; my gums have already stabilized since seeing her several times; I highly recommend Dr. Wachuta and his team at the 38th Ave location!

  I made an emergency appointment for a painful toothache about a year and a half ago. Dr. Wachuta didn't take an x-ray, and instead advised that I wear a mouthguard at night. I recently moved and when my new dentist took intake x-rays, they immediately found that same tooth has a root infection. I don't understand why Dr. Wachuta didn't take an x-ray when I went in for the pain on my initial appointment. They probably would have seen the infection and could have taken care of it. Instead, I lived with it for over a year and thank goodness nothing more serious happened as a result. I would advise anyone going to Gentle Smiles to really be a strong self-advocate and push for treatment and answers.

  Dr. Wachuta was recommended by a friend. His Wheat Ridge office was convenient and his treatment prices were competitive. My first appointment was the most thorough exam and cleaning I’ve ever experienced. I received a written and verbal recommendation for treatment complete with estimated cost. What I appreciate about this dental practice is the personal and courteous way I was treated by Dr. Wachuta and his exceptional staff - Bre, Aldo, Jane and Liz. They always explain what to expect during the procedure and do a follow up phone call to see if there were any problems. I’m pleased.

  Over the years I have seen several dentists due to various moves, etc. It was with some apprehension my husband and I had to find a new dentist that would take our insurance. However......first impressions were very good as we walked into a happy, colorful, homey atmosphere where we were greeted by friendly staff. The initial x-rays and cleanings were good experiences and when we returned for a few minor fillings, we left that day feeling like we had made the right choice! The staff all seem to care about one another as well as their patients. Thank you to Dr. Wachuta and his staff!
