  I go here from time to time and look around. Some of the staff could be a bit friendlier. Prices are way high (for the condition) on their higher end back issues, but they do have a large selection. I went there today actually and was denied part of my purchase...lol Never happened to me before. I was buying a book that had multiple covers and an employee said I couldn't buy one of each. Whatever, I went to another store. Also, I've seen this in other reviews....they will literally follow you around the store like you're going to steal something. I thought it was just me, but apparently others have experienced this too. I'm not gonna steal a $5 comic....come on people...lol

  Let’s put it this way. I live in North Richland Hills and drive to Bedford to get my comics and whatever my daughter and wife want. They are the only place I go for my hobby as they treat every customer with respect. They treat me like family and I enjoy that. If I want something they order it for me and have it in great condition. They do anything to make your experience a memorable one every time you go there. Thank you for your great service.

  They have all the Pokemon packs behind the counter and would not allow my 9 yr old to go behind to pick his pack, or bring them to the counter to pick which one he wants. will not return here. Other places have no problem letting him pick the pack he wants.

  Love this place! This is THE place to be for Magic: The Gathering. Tons of people play here Friday nights and the drafts on Sunday are so fun, more laid-back than the competitive FNMs. Great prices on singles with a well stocked inventory for all formats. They also buy cards and make good trades. I bought a few dual lands here with a huge discount from trading a few top tier modern cards to them. The judge guy that's always there, can't remember his name, is so friendly and helpful. He made sure I got a good deal. I left feeling like we both profited from the deal. They stock literally any and every new crazy board games, card games, tabletop games, all of it. The store is pretty much bursting at the seams with inventory, making it a little tough to navigate, but it is a worthwhile sacrifice. This is the only hobby shop I ever go to. Great place, can't say enough good things about it. Bring your business here!

  Generation X is a nicely sized store with a good selection of comics, trading cards, and board games. Every one of my trips to this store have been pleasant, even ones where it is busy and the staff are distracted. Once you have their attention they are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are very fair when buying and selling individual cards as well. You can get a fair portion of your card's value in in-store credit on most cards, and I have even gotten some special deals when I have bought some singles and boxes. The store can be a bit crowded during release and pre-release events, but there is always space for everyone in the event. I can get over the space constraints because I can't blame all of those people for wanting to come to this store. In my opinion, Generation X is one of the best stores in its area and a store that other places should strive to emulate. I drive 30+ minutes sometimes to come to this over any of the nearer stores in my area. I highly recommend you give this place a shot.
